After a long time, Ruud van de Rakt from Holland finally finished the restauration of his 1941 Mercedes 170 v sedan. It took a lot of work, but the result has been well worth the effort. Ruud mentions that he has had a lot of help from the Dutch Mercedes club and especially very useful were the many technical documents on their website. They are in Dutch, but well worth to have a look at, even if you don't own a Mercedes.

Excellnt restoration. Interesting to see a side valve 4 cylinder motor and scuttle tank in such an advanced chassis.
Love the comprehensive toolkit to remind us that owner maintenance was an important part of everyday motoring, not just lift the fuel flap.
