The 1928 Buick mystery deepens, now attacked by a plane? (Upd. Victoria Coupe)

Some time ago Phil Haywood acquired a 1928 Buick Standard 6, RHD rolling chassis. It came with a Hendon London body ID plate, that identified the chassis as a 2-door, 5-seater Dominion Saloon. The chassis was completely restored, but not knowing what the body looked like he posted some pictures on our 'Show a Mystery' pages. Much information came to light, including the chap who restored the chassis. But Phil also heard from a lady who remembered his car, and said it was a 2-door with a Dicky seat...
And Phil has also been told a story of his Buick being attacked by a German plane during WWII, while towing a mower on the golf course in Kent, UK. The driver then was a Mr. Beer.
Well, how can we find out more about this incident? And does anyone have an old Buick photo in their collection, with UK registration number UC 8426, so we may know what was it then... 5-seater or 2-seater with dicky?

From descriptions obtained - 2-door, five seat -dicky seat, I would say it was a Victoria coupe. This had 2 doors and seated five in a close-coupled body with a bustle boot which could be confused with an old memory and taken as a dicky seat.

Google "1928 Buick Victoria Coupe" and select killbillet and see more photos of one - before and after the chop.
