Hi there,
Just replying to Stacey Carson and the group. We are the current custodians of Graeme Carson's Bayliss Thomas, or should i say, my daughter is. We acquired the BT in '22 from a local gentleman, whom purchased it at the Shannons auction in 2007. My daughter and son -in-law drive the BT regularly (weather permitting) for pleasure, and to show the BT at local events. It attracts a lot of attention at shows, being such a rare car, and the 50 year old restoration is holding-up well.

Hi Everyone
My Partner is the daughter of Graeme Carson. She was married in it and has a beautiful picture of her and her Father in full dress attire in the car. It saddened her greatly that she could not accommodate the vehicle in her current home all those years ago. This week is the 15th Anniversary of his passing. It would be a beautiful acknowledgement to him to know the car is well loved and appreciated. Stacey and I often talk of his many hobbies (Brough Superior) for example that to this day tells a story. A very loved and talented man that unfortunately i never met, but as I type this brings me to tears. She sent me this attachment this morning and I felt I needed to write this. Thank you and on behalf of Stacey, it makes her proud that Graeme's workmanship lives on. Thanks again.

Hello
Thank you for your lovely comment regarding Graeme Carson's beautifully restored car.
This was my Dad's car which I grew up watching him restore and he drove me in on my wedding day.
He was a very clever man and I wish my now teenage kids could see his amazing work. If you have the car at a car show or rally, I would love to see it again one day - I live in Melbourne. If you ever sell it or have sold it I would love to know to information if possible.
I have no idea if you will receive this message due to the date on this site.
I hope this car is bringing you the joy it brought to my Dad and family for many years.
Kind Regards
Stacey Carson

From the home of Bayliss Thomas. I have a 1927 12/27 roadster running the original Henry Meadows 4EC motor which i purchased in 1962 from the Heidelberg Victoria area.I have over the years been able to accumulate a few spare parts namely 5 x spare 4EC motors [earliest casting date 25/02/26] & 1 x 4EB motor with no visible casting date.I also have 1 spare wide wheel base & 1 spare narrow wheel base chassis.I also have quite a number of body parts & 2 x spare radiators.I have assorted 6V starter motors & generators "BUT" do not have & desperately need a 12V lucas generator.I have been able to help out the late Graeme Carson with his 1926 roadster,Ted Cliff with his 1926 tourer & Andrew Cox with his Baliss Thomas / Riley special which he took over from David Price. To my knowledge 69 cars were imported to Australia & distibuted by Automobiles Ltd. of William St. Sydney & Francis Motors of 249 Latrobe St. Melbourne & also at Canterbury.Tom Francis {one of the Francis brothers used to compete on a regular basis & picked up a number of trophies}.There may also have been some privately imported cars with English built bodies as i have manufacturers name plates off one.

Shannons auctions at Melbourne sold a very nice B/T 2 seater roadster in March 2007. This was a very nicely restored car with a meadows engine and some spares. I wish I had bought it but it's reg no. was very valuable and hence beyond my budget!
